I've looked at both, which one is the better value to get your bonus back into acct thru FPPs??

I'll only be a 1$ to $5 player being that I'm a beginner to all this

Any opinions appreciated

I use both. Like u will. Usually for $1or $2. Fanduel has more high entry games with bigger prizes, mthatbi like. BUT draft kings has mma, PGA, NASCAR and others, in addition to the big 4 sports.

Thnx Madman and Hamilbet for your response

It seems to me it's a bit like online poker, which have bots a lot of times that could clean house

I did like the 1 on 1 challenges I saw though, that seemed pretty cool

I'm still up in the air about it, I'm in 2 FF leagues, the NCAA contest here at RX and a weekly pickem contest locally, plus my weekend wagering, lol.....yea, I'm a degenerate

Draft King is getting bigger than Fan Duel. I can't use either one, because of the State I live.

Residents of Arizona, Iowa, Louisiana, Montana or Washington are currently not eligible to participate in DraftKings contests due to cash prize restrictions in those states. Please contact support@draftkings.com with additional questions.

Haven't tried Draft Kings, but I recently threw some dough into a fanduel account. The claim was that the deposit came with a 100% bonus. My limited experience shows that they give you a tiny percentage of your eligible bonus for every dollar you play. It translates to 4 cents for every dollar put into play. So if you deposit $100, you get a potential bonus of a $100. In order to get the full bonus, you have to put $2500 into play.

I would hope Draft Kings is better than that.

They aren't. Both do that.

Similar to sportsbooks with a rollover.

Stay away from draftkings, while the software is excellent and makes the games more fun to watch, I am having a hard time getting paid. They have a customer service number, but no one ever answers and even when you speak to someone via email, they will not call you, they say its more efficient emailing, red flag there. They advertise you get your money immediately, that is bs, your act gets credited immediately, getting your hands on it is a different stroy, a story to which i dont have an ending to yet.

If you have the bankroll, the time, the computer program, or some combo of the 3 to grind out multiple lineups. Then both are pretty much the same. This was my opinion a couple years ago after I tried FanDuel, played half a season, and eventually just let my account expire. Can't remember how much was still in it, but I didn't put enough in it to care.

According to this Bloomberg article, it's worse now. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...h-to-win-money-playing-daily-fantasy-football

Not try to spam, just dont like people signing up and getting nothing out of it.

Was hoping we can get a discussion thread going here? Everyone going to be on Starks this week if no Lacy?

Similar to sportsbooks with a rollover.

Unlike a sportsbook bonus, if you deposit, have a few wins, but mostly lose until the balance hits zero, you never see the vast majority of your bonus. You need to re-up and continue to play to qualify for more of it. A sportsbook will give you the entire bonus up front and let you use it to gain enough traction to meet the rollover. These fantasy sites don't do that. I'm pretty sure that's because it's basically equivalent to parimutuel wagering where there's a pool with a fixed payout amount and a fixed takeout percentage.

I have question for expierenced DraftKing players. On FanDuel, If you enter a contest, you have the ability to cancel your entry and have the entry fee refunded (for as long as the contest isn't full). Is there a way to do this on Draft Kings? I'm not seeing that ability.

I have used both, actually play on yahoo and fantasy aces as well.
I choose DK. 1st they let you swap players until game goes off, got screwed few weeks back with FD when Luck was a late scratch and i couldn't swap him out. 2nd no kicker on DK.2 weeks ago i requested a $1,000 from DK they returned it to my ****** account the next morning.
GL with what everyone you choose

One thing that I believe FanDuel does much better than DraftKings is the interface and live scoring. I'm generally using the mobile app on my phone and FanDuel automatically updates scoring on whatever page you happen to be viewing . DraftKings seems to show a snapshot when you first display a page of a contest that's in progress and the only way to view the constant changes is to refresh the page (to get another snapshot). It doesn't affect the outcome in any way, but it's slightly annoying knowing that it should be better and can be improved. Overall, the Fanduel interface is sleek and professional. I can't say that about the DraftKings interface. DKs makes enough money to pay the salaries of quality programmers. They need to get some.

Another interface annoyance with DK is with editing a lineup. If a position is filled but you want to look at other available options, on DK you have to remove the player from your lineup in order to look at the other options. If you don't make any changes, you can abandon and everything will be reset to the way it was. However, If you attempt to look at several positions, but only change 1 of them, you have to go back and re-enter the ones you didn't want to change. There's no reason you should have to search for the player you already had occupying the position and re-select them to get things back to the way they were. Having to do these steps when you didn't make a change introduces the possibility for unwanted mistakes to be made. This is a non-issue with FanDuel and frankly poor programming.

Both are great option. Fan Duel puts more money into advertising, their commercials are on sports center all the time, making their name very recognizable. Draft Kings gives out more prize money as of late, with their "millionaire makers" sweepstake giving out $10 million this season.
